When you try to get a friend of yours to watch a television show, typically, you describe the overall style and story of the series. You give an outline of the characters, the points you like, the points you don’t, and you usually give them a list of episodes to check out first. This is the ‘best of’ reel, the episodes that stick with you. Whether it’s a drama, a sitcom, or a sci-fi, everyone has their episodes that they consider the best, the funniest, the most heartfelt.
That’s what this segment is all about. Welcome to Episode Spotlight!
The point of Episode Spotlight is simple. We’ll take a look at episodes from various television shows, some popular, some less so, and analyze the good, the bad, and the ugly: the standout episodes of television.
Submissions or suggestions of episodes you want to see done are more than welcome, so if you have any specific episodes you want to see, send an ask and we’ll get it done. The only criteria is it must either be before 1999, or connected to a property that started before 1999. So, please, join us shortly as we begin taking a look at the best of television.
Episode Spotlight, because sometimes, a television show is just so good, you can’t just talk about it in general terms.
